I made a batch but was out of brown sugar so I mixed up REGULAR sugar with a few drops of green plus a few drops of red food color. After mixing the two colors together it looked brown to me at least.
I was fresh out of assparagassso made these with a can of turnip greens and everyone at the potluck said they were really good! I plan on mixing up another batch for my next Tupperware party. Your recipes always bring lots of comments!!
