Skin Update & Foundation Demo
My shop is now open! Full size mineral foundations are .25: www.artfire.com My skin has been doing very well, no new breakouts for a couple of weeks now! I go over in the video what I’ve been doing for my skin. I also demo my new foundation routine using the Pumpkin and Poppy Full Coverage Mineral Foundation in the shade Creamy Peach so you can get an idea of the coverage and appearance of the product. Products used: Alba Green Tea Sunblock Crazy Rumors Chai Lip Balm ELF Concealer Pencil & Brush (Fair) ELF Mineral Eye Primer Beauty Without Cruelty Concealer in Fair Pumpkin & Poppy Full Coverage Mineral Foundation (Creamy Peach) Silica Microspheres (setting powder) Everyday Minerals Soft Bronzer Thayer’s Lavender Witch Hazel Toner (setting spray) FTC: Everything I use in the video I purchased myself or made myself, except for the Everyday Minerals soft bronzer which was sent to me for review a few months back. I do use that product a lot, and have since I’ve gotten it, so I really do love it.

I like bronzer that can be used for contouring or for blush.
@CreeWoman26 or a large face kabuki would provide a lighter coverage as well..just tap off the extra and apply a light layer until you reach the desired coverage. let me know if you have any more questions!
@CreeWoman26 I use the stippling brush for the blush; I think a dense brush works better for buffing in the foundation although if you don’t need much coverage, this might be a better option. I’m not sure how good a demo I’d with a stippling method as I need more coverage. The key is to exfoliate regularly/moisturize prior to applying. Then, if you are stippling, I lightly dust starting out the center of the face. Apply only where needed to even skintone.
how is the foundation stippled on? can you do a demo with that method of application…i like stippling on mineral foundations, i think it gives more coverage but looks very natural
@veggiebeauty oh wow. thanks, can’t wait for it to come out
@kittykat043 I’m just finished writing up my ingredient lists, which I will include with every purchase. All of the ingredients will also be listed with each of my listings on artfire, so you can look through the ingredients and make sure its a product you feel good purchasing. I formulate without parabens, preservative, talc, and bismuth oxychloride, My products are made with micas and minerals, and I try to keep my products simple, with a focus on quality ingredients.
im just wondering…if your foundation is paraben free..you no know like all those bad chemicals (talc, etc)?
@BettieJoe88 it should be ready by next week:)
@linds1986 thanks lindsey, I feel so much more positive about my skin lately. It really works well, especially if you have an active lifestyle as it is water resistant, absorbs oil, and has built in spf. Its really made a big difference.
@jackieoh1234 that is such a sweet comment, I appreciate your support so much:) I have a few days off from my job next week and I hope to have my line ready by then…I’m very close!
You are seriously SO inspiring! I can’t believe you’re starting your own vegan cosmetic line! I can’t wait to try out one of your foundations, and I wish you the best of luck in your business.
@KITTENDELISH why thank you very much:) I’m sure diet does help, but basicially, what’s helped me more than anything is not overprocessing my hair. I don’t use heat on it, don’t dye it, I use sulfate free shampoo (yes to cucumbers), and I don’t use styling products on it usually. I use a bit of dr. bronner’s lavender hair cream as a leave in conditioner. I also like braiding it when it dries…it keeps my hair from getting frizzy.
i know this is off topic, but your hair is absolutely gorgeous~ its so thick and shiny and long; do u think your vegan diet has to do with such great hair?
Wow this stuff is great! Your skin is looking amazing, I am so happy you’ve found products that work for you, I know what a process that can be and it’s such a relief to find things that treat your skin well xoxo
@janciepants I may have to look into that, thanks for the suggestion!
@piratesavvy07 aww, you are too sweet:)
I wanna try your make up already! =)
This is extremely informative and I love the blatant honesty! You’re a doll
Looks very good! Congrats on your improved skin! I’m trying to make a couple of stubborn recent acne scars go away with the SiBu Sea Buckthorn Seed oil – only a couple nights used, and I see an improvement in the texture, and the scars are lighter. I have tried bronzer, but it always seems to look weird on my fair skin. We can really notice your continued weight loss as well around your jawline.
@veggiebeauty I know! I am a;ready in love with mine..it makes a huge difference since I have a heavy hand.
Your skin does look like it is getting better all the time. I can’t wait to try your new stuff
