Review: St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub & Cleanser

This is my review on these products. I’ve been using the scrub for a week, but the cleanser for only four days. I will do a more in depth cleanser review if you’d like, once I have used it a little more. ***FTC: I bought these products myself. I’m not affiliated with St. Ives, nor am I being paid to do this. All opinions expressed are my own honest opinions.

does it realy help for the redness?
just to inform you that because it claims it reducess redness, that is the reason the scrub has such fine particles. With the apricot scrub i noticed that my skin gets alot more irrated and more red because the particles are large. But i love the green tea it really does what it says
@Jpizzlebutt I do that too, I swear it works as well!
@inkfooted thank you
I’m jealous, you have very beautiful lips
@InTheMomment I’m so sorry for the late response! It is completely oil-free
@laurenatalie I usually use the scrub in the morning and the cleanser at night
do you use the green tea cleanser first and then the scrub?
does the cleanser contain any oils?
Hey pretty girl! I love your make up here, you rock those red lippies! I love my Green Tea scrub! Great review, darlin!! YOU ROCK! I love that it’s paraben free..that is so important these days. And the ingredients are fab!

@Jpizzlebutt Oh, that sounds cool… I’ll try it! Thanks!
omg so i have this product and ive been using it for like.. a month now and i really love it.. but i think ive been using it wrong ;P Like instead of rubbing it in like at all i just let it sit the whole time untill its completely dry and when it dries it turns white (instead of green) then i rinse it off; im telling you i think my way really works though (: maybe you should try it.. it takes about 10 minutes or more depending on how much you put on. (this is for the scrub/mask thing) (:
The exfoliating particles in the Green Tea Scrub is sand.
@123dancingcookie If I had to pick between the two, I would suggest the scrub because it has the green tea and salicylic acid like the cleanser does, but it also has the particles to exfoliate. But you should take into consideration whether or not your skin would get irritated by the daily exfoliation. I hope that helps!
@ThePunkrocker21 oh lol you’re welcome
Being told you will have a skin disease for the rest of your life is not encouraging nor does it have to be the truth. I’d rather listen to a dermatologist than listen to some random person’s opinions on skin health.
@DancetotheMusicxxx Definitely. Never get cleansers with fragrance. It’s the WORST.
30 mg of caffeine is a lot? I drink only organic tea myself
Your a very ugly person… that was very rude.
4 peaple who suffer from acne
<3

4 more info leave me comment or send me messges in my page
it looks like they put her head on a skeleton
every green tea contains caffeine. if there is no caffeine then it is not natural
yes they all have caffeine naturaly so you need one that says decaf. But a bit of caffeine isn’t that bad for you, it does stimulate your brain for example. And I’m sure if you have one or 2 a day you’ll be fine. Coffee has about 3 times more caffeine and they say 4 cups a day is the max to have (in my opinion that’s a lot though!)
green tea is the least thing to worrie about with caffine
please answer this Fran (or anybody else),
In your 7-step mini course, you say that you should avoid caffeine, but you also say that you should drink green tea.
I’ve been drinking green tea from pickwick (with some lemon)(sorry it’s not organic) for a couple of weeks now and nowhere cafeine is mentioned on the package (nor as a ingredient). Does this mean it is caffeine free? or does every green tea contain caffeine? I really want to know. Please help! because I love this tea!
Sodium laurel sulfate
Sodium laureth sulfate anything that foams is super drying and the reason why its in so many products is cause its super cheap go all organic. 99% of over the counter shampoos an soaps have sls. Also all organic shampoo have the peppermint smell
It’s great that you left them!! friends who are there for your appearance, money, or just to use you are not worth having around if they are going to treat you differently based on appearance!
trash those friends…
but i always get it on my nose….so they would make fun of me for that but whatevers
Really? That is just not nice. Everyone gets a pimple or two once in a while.
Cacao doesn’t have caffeine but Theobromine, another substance that is similar but with VERY different effects and properties. Theobromine is the active ingredient in Chocolate and it occurs only in Cacao. The most basic difference is that Theobromine is gentle while caffeine is intense and more aggressive.
I’m drinking white tea now, it has much less caffeine than green tea.
If you want to add something add honey, sugar can neutralize some nutrients of the tea.
