i prefer strong black tea with lemon and sweetener. spicy foods are good for sore throat and sinuses. drink lots of water! people who get sick often dehydrate because of their large consumption of tea and otc meds. you neeed at least 64 oz. of water per day on top of other stuff you drink. gator ade helps with skewed electrolyte levels when you,re sick. basically anything that soothes, tastes good, and isn,t harmful is beneficial. avoid milk. cinnamon tea is very soothing. celestial seasonings lemon zinger is good. it has no caffeine in it, so you can drink it at night. i think bigelow makes cinnamon tea. ricola drops help with a cough.
it might help the sore throat, but it really won’t help the cold. celestial seasonings wellness tea will help you feel better.
