dont need that electric frother device. just put the water matcha and sugar in a travel mug and shake it,.. for me unsweetened matcha green tea powder (from Teavana) tastes HORRID unsweetened, sugar is a must

huh what is ” hot but not boiled” , i don’t hjave foam making machine at home well
umm when i froth the milk, i only use cold milk! quite cold milk actually,a s cold as your fridge can keep it and i use about 1,5% fat and it works perfectly! the only problem is when you want to have hot milk…then just froth a little amout of cold milk quite much and then mix matcha mix ith hot milk and then add the frothed milk on the top:)
@snupers, except for the thing with the hands this is the way they seem to always do it; in Hangzhou at least. Even in a hotel bar. Some tea houses have waaay more dramatic ways of pouring the water though.
@snupers I totally agree. She needs to do it just for performance and it is too far from daily life.
