How To: Understanding Tea
Today is a little Tea 101. I try to run down all the different types of tea and tell you a little bit about it. It’s may to much ground to try to cover in 10 minutes so I move fast and skip over a lot. I need to do more in depth movies on each type of tea. The tea ninja!!! Too awesome! I have been drinking black tea for years now and I’m just now getting into the white and green teas. I would have to say the white teas are my favorite right now although I haven’t tried oolong or puerh yet. Love all the videos though. Thanks

@Kaminix It is kukimatcha and genmatcha. Also Yerba Mate does not contain caffeine. It contains a similar property called mateine but differs from caffeine dramatically. Google “Yerba Mate Caffeine” if you want to know more. And you are right Darjeeling isn’t a black tea, though it’s almost always marketed as black tea in the US. It’s technically a Oolong, I believe, because of it’s less than 90% oxidization. Teetotaler, we are a pretentious bunch :]
@Kaminix Seems kukimatcha and genmatcha may be nicknames for matcha iri genmaicha and matcha iri kukicha. So disregard point number two I guess.
Just a few quick corrections: 1. It’s camelia sinensis. 2. It’s genmaicha, not genmatcha; mai meaning rice (玄米茶). Also I think you mean kukicha, not kukimatcha. 3. Yerba Mate has caffeine in it too. 4. You shouldn’t keep your tea in glass jars, tea is sensitive to both light and oxygen. 5. Puerh and darjeeling are not the same kind of tea, one is black (heicha) and one is red (hongcha, known as black to the west). You’re mixing up chinese and western tea terms.

Excellent video! =)
Thanks for the video keep them coming.
Vicki Zhao Wei (Vicki Wei Zhao, her name in the American way) has unusual Western-like facial features – BIG symmetric eyes and shapely nose. Also, she is another well-educated famous Chinese actress with excellent grades, unlike bullshit Hollywood stars. #LOL

That guy deserved that slap, he has no manners nor any respect. It was also scary that he was following her without giving a word of his intentions.
