2. Tea contains tannins that, in too high amounts, block iron absorption, and can cause in iron deficiency.
3. The sugar, as mentioned. This one I don’t have a problem with because I don’t put sugar in my tea or coffee, my personal feeling is that it gets in the way of the drink’s flavor.
