The Different Headache Treatment Options Include Green Tea

Article by Ann Marier

If you suffer from headaches, then you are definitely going to want to learn about all of the different headache treatment options that you have to choose from. There are many, however certain headache treatment options are going to work better for you than others, and so thus you obviously are going to want to figure this out.

The Different Headache Treatment Options

There are so many different headache treatment options that you have, and one of the best actually uses something that you most likely already have in your home – green tea.

Green tea has always been known for its incredibly healthy side effects, however not many people are aware of how great it is for headache treatment. Green tea has many antioxidants in it, which help to distress you and as well as relieve any pain and swelling from your head.

The best way to take the green tea if you are looking to get rid of headaches is to boil it and drink it hot, as the steam of the hot drink is also going to help relax and unwind you.

Another great form of treatment that is available for headaches is a cool cloth, and this is perhaps the oldest used form of treatment for this sort of problem. All you need to do here is take a facecloth and run cool water over it, and then place it on your forehead. Just make sure that you cool the cloth down again every time it starts to become warm.

Certain options are going to work better on other people and not you, and so in order to make the process easier on you overall, you are going to want to go into your doctor’s so that you can speak to them about what they think the best ideas would be for you.

There are also plenty of medications that you can take to help with headaches, however if you are one of the many people who are more interested in curing your headaches naturally, then you should stick with methods such as the green tea and cold facecloth methods.

Just remember that even if you suffer from really bad headaches, there are many different forms of treatment that you can use, and so you really should not feel stressed out or as though there is nothing that you can do in order to feel better from your headaches, because that is certainly not true.

Wholesale Green Tea – The Benefits Of Organic Tea

Article by Shakeel Ahmed

Organic tea contains a lot of benefits for your health. It is not hard to find quality wholesale green tea. Green tea is very friendly for human health and it provides immense medical benefits. The biggest benefit is that green tea reduces the frequency of antioxidants in the human body. What are antioxidants? They are free radicals and have a negative effect on the health. These radicals enter the human body when the skin is exposed to sunlight or air. Once they enter the body, it is not hard for them to multiply in number. Green tea prevents them from multiplying and eliminates them completely. You will see a lot of overweight women making purchases from wholesale green tea stores. Why is that so?

After pregnancy, the weight of women increases by a very large margin. This weight turns into permanent fat if it is not reduced immediately. Organic tea is one way to accomplish this task. It is known to reduce weight in a health safe manner. Apart from that, this category of tea can be very helpful if you are facing heart problems

Do you need to mix milk and sugar in organic tea for the purpose of taste? The answer to this question is no. It is served without mixing anything and it has natural taste. Some people like to have it with lemon flavor.

There is a big difference between the cultivation processes of organic tea and conventional tea. The tea leaves used to make organic tea are cultivated without using fertilizers. Hence, a large percentage of hazardous effects are eliminated. Organic tea does not have negative effects on any of your organs. In addition to that, it makes you look younger. However, you need to drink a minimum of five cups per day to attain any effect.

Wholesale green tea is not advertised a lot. Thus, a lot of awareness is not created among people. As compared to a normal drink, it is used more for treatment purposes. Some people have the perception that green tea is caffeine free. This is not the case. It does contain caffeine. However, the proportion is so low that it does not affect the health in an adverse manner.

The regular intake of this organic tea can help you in maintaining your health. As I mentioned before, the level of caffeine is very low. Hence, there are no adverse affects to worry about.

Looking for the Best Green Tea to Buy?

Article by Jay Benjamin

The best green tea to buy is of course down to personal preference, however many people who buy their tea from their local supermarket are missing out on the true delights of high quality, unblended green tea.

Green tea, which like all teas comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant, has gained a lot of popularity in Western countries in the last few years.

Surely I Can Buy Green Tea in my Supermarket?

Well, yes you can, but unfortunately, the cheap, poor quality bagged teas commonly sold in supermarkets often contain additives and flavorings. They are quite different to the unadulterated green teas sold in specialty shops and online stores.

Which is the Best Green Tea?

Like wine, the quality of a tea crop is influenced by weather and other factors and so varies from year to year. But the best green tea always comes from the first plucking in early Spring, when the leaves and buds are young and tender. For quality teas, only the first one or two leaves and a bud are hand-picked. High quality tea is also better for you, as most of the beneficial antioxidants it contains are concentrated in the bud and first two leaves.

Once gathered, only minimal processing takes place – the tea is dried for a few hours and then heated in large woks or baked in ovens in order to remove moisture and stop the fermentation process.

Unblended tea is generally a better option than the blended product, this is because blended teas often include cheap “fanning” (powdered leaves) to add bulk and increase profits. True tea lovers will often only buy tea which has come from a single specific plantation, so called “single estate” tea.

Some of the Choicest Teas

As to which specific green tea to buy, it’s obviously down to personal preference. However, some of the best to look out for include Dragon Well, from Zhejiang province in China (a delicate, sweet flavor), Japanese Sencha (refreshing, smooth and slightly earthy), White Monkey, from Fujian province in China (a light, slightly sweet taste) and Gunpowder, also from Zhejiang province, which has a fresh, slightly smokey flavor.

Buying Tea Online

Probably the best way to buy tea is online – specialty shops tend to be expensive, and you can’t beat the convenience of having it delivered to your door. You can find the best green tea to buy by going to the BuyingTeaOnline.com website.

Storing your Tea

Green tea has a relatively short shelf-life and will begin to lose its flavor after about six months. For this reason it’s best not to buy too much in one go. It’s very important to store it in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place, in order to prevent oxidation.

Jay Benjamin is a Teacher and a lover of tea – not the nasty stuff that comes in bags, but real tea! When she was unable to find a good selection of teas in her local area, she discovered buying tea online was the answer. From the best green tea, to white tea and fine oolong, it’s all available delivered to your door via the internet!

Green Tea And Acne

Article by Donald Amodeo

If you are looking for a healthy way to help keep your acne under control without resorting to the typical over-the-counter topical drugs that may cause more harm than good, green tea may be a treatment worth looking into. Green tea has long been a staple of traditional Chinese medicine, taken to treat ailments such as acne as well as to improve general health. It has become popular worldwide both for its taste and the many health benefits it provides.

Green tea is definitely a healthy beverage, but is it really effective at treating acne? The answer seems to be yes, although how effective it is may depend on the severity of your acne (and just how much green tea you are willing to drink). The main reason for green tea’s effectiveness is due to the fact that green tea is extremely rich in antioxidants. Thus, by drinking plenty of green tea you help rid toxins from your body and maintain a healthy cell structure.

Besides fighting off bacteria, research has shown that green tea can help reduce redness and inflammation, and even deter hormonal activity. Thus green tea can both speed healing and help prevent acne, which is often caused by the activity of hormonal shifts.

For acne treatment, green tea may be taken as a drink, a pill (green tea extract), or in a topical cream. Also, simply placing a warm teabag on acne lesions can help draw out toxins and promote faster healing.

By far the most popular method is simply drinking green tea. Green tea with honeysuckle is known as “pimple tea” in many Chinatowns. Drinking a glass of green tea each day will help a little, but if you plan to use green tea as a main factor in your fight against acne, you will need a higher dose. For more dramatic results, many regimens recommend as much as 8 glasses of green tea each day until your skin clears. This is most effective if the tea is freshly brewed and sugar-free. Preservatives and sugar will neutralize many of green tea’s benefits.

Taken as a pill, green tea is similar to vitamins for acne that focus on detoxifying your skin through antioxidants. Unfortunately, this approach does not typically work as well as simply drinking green tea due to the fact that the nutrients are much more easily absorbed as a liquid rather than a pill.

According to a recent study reported to the American Academy of Dermatology, a topical cream with 3% green tea extract produced similar results to a solution containing 4% benzoyl peroxide. Thus, green tea appears to be very effective as a spot treatment as well, without causing the dryness and irritation that generally go along with benzoyl peroxide. However, I would still recommend drinking the tea over using a topical cream, since the benefits of the topical treatment are limited to only the applied area, and do not include hormonal effects that can help you actually avoid, or at least diminish the intensity of, future acne.
